What is a Virtual Table & How Do I Sponsor One?
For 16 years many of us have been sharing a dinner table with family and friends at our Annual Harvest on the Hill Auction & Dinner. A virtual table is one that is shared even though you may not physically be sitting at the table. A virtual table offers everyone the opportunity to participate together in this very important fundraiser without leaving your home.
You can still invite family and friends to sit at your table, a virtual table that is, and join us for Mass on October 3rd. By sponsoring a table or joining a virtual table with friends, you are helping us achieve our fundraising goal of $100,000.
First, determine a goal. Every gift is appreciated. Your virtual table goal can be the amount you choose. For example: $5,000, $2,500, $1,000, $750, $500, $250. Â
Get Your Table Set Up on the Mater Dolorosa Website. Call the Development Office at (626) 355-7188, Ext. 103 or Email Melanie Goodyear at mgoodyear@materdolorosa.org to get your Virtual Table set up on the Mater Dolorosa website. All you need to do is provide your table name and goal. Your Virtual Table "guests" can then go to our website and choose your table for their donation. If you or those you invite to join your table prefer to donate by check, simply mail the gift directly to the retreat house after you have called to get your table set up.
Reach Out. Send an email, a text, make a phone call, or post to Facebook asking your friends, family members, co-workers, neighbors, or anyone else you can think of to join your Virtual Table and help you reach your goal. Perhaps, you can get your employer or a business associate to match your gift.
Share your enthusiasm and love for Mater Dolorosa with your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers by inviting them to join you at your Virtual Table on October 3rd for the livestreamed event.
