Welcome to Mater Dolorosa Passionist Retreat Center.

An Update from Mater Dolorosa

Just 1 month since closing after the Eaton Fire, we are excited to be reopening to retreat groups on Feb. 7! Although we continue to be closed to the public, we plan to have a Homecoming day on Ash Wednesday, March 5. Please register for a weekend retreat here or get information about facilities here. Many thanks to the first responders, clean up crews, volunteers and donors who have enabled us to re-open so quickly!

Mater Dolorosa is a Passionist Retreat Center, dedicated to preaching the Passion of Jesus Christ. We welcome all who wish to hear the message of the Passion through our traditions of preaching, hospitality, and compassion. We place our focus on the Passion of Jesus Christ and its relevance in the lives of people today. We foster and promote spiritual growth and renewal through Passionist retreat programs and by providing a peaceful environment for personal prayer and reflection.
