"The Crimson Cloak"

Forty-three cast members and community volunteers from St. Rita Catholic Parish and Mater Dolorosa Passionist Retreat Center will perform an original production of music, interpretive dance, tableau and meditative reflections. The theatric, music and dance-filled event portrays the passion of Christ through the eyes of Mary Magdalene. Exquisite dance, colorful costumes and beautiful music enhance every scene while meditative and powerfully expressive reflections contribute to this Lenten event. Soloist Erica Jones Deato, (Mary Magdalene) and Sean Murtha, (Jesus) will be featured as well as a brilliant cast composed of church, retreat and community members. Written, produced and directed by long time St. Rita parishioner and Sierra Madre resident, Mimi Mycroft. The Crimson Cloak will be performed twice:
