Politica Tocante el COVID

Mater Dolorosa Passionist Retreat Center Policy
for a Covid-free environment

All members of the Passionist Community and the Mater Dolorosa Passionist Retreat Center (MDPRC)Staff self-test for Covid twice a week and test results are recorded.

If anyone who tests positive, they are required to stay home for at least 5 days and seek medical attention if necessary

If a staff member tests positive for Covid at MDPRC, that person is required to go home and follow the published protocols for those who come down with Covid.

All those who register to attend a retreat, have a program or a gathering at the Retreat Center are asked to be tested, regardless of vaccination status.

There are two options for testing.

  • We accept a PCR test 24-48 hours before the event or a rapid antigen test done on the day of the event.
  • If you do not have access to testing or a test kit, Mater Dolorosa will provide a kit at check-in.

Masking: Masks are strongly recommended indoors but not required. All MDPRC staff members are directed to use KN95 masks while in public places. Public health agencies recommend the use of a KN95 mask.  We can provide a KN95 upon request.

In the event that the protocols on wearing masks change, MDPRC will follow the new directive.

MDPRC allows guests to dine indoors.  They may also take their food back to their rooms or eat outdoors.  We have set up our Verandas for outdoor dining.

Masks are not required outdoors.
